In conclusion, these kind of activi-ties can increase the awareness of the IBD in the medical community in developing countries for improving the diagnosis and treatment in early stages of the IBD in order to get a bet-ter quality of life by reducing hospi-talizations and surgeries. Additionally, IBD patient associations must work in collaboration with physicians to increase the communication about the knowledge of this disease and to reduce the fear of having IBD.
