WDHD 2017 Steering Committee
are pleased to share with you the
release of the WGO Handbook on
Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD):
Navigating Evolving Therapies in an
Evolving Disease. The e-publication
features 12 chapters written by experts
from around the globe. Articles within
the handbook discuss various topics
including the Diagnosis and Management
of IBD in different regions of
the world, IBD biomarkers, Crohn’s
disease and tuberculosis, Cancer in
IBD, and more.

countries including Argentina, Austria,
Bangladesh, Canada, Cuba, Czech
Republic, India, Iran, Mongolia,
Myanmar, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal,
Spain, Turkey, United Arab Emirates,
USA and Uruguay. Collectively, those
18 countries hosted 25 events in support
of WDHD 2017 to advocate and
raise awareness for IBD.
