The World Gastroenterology Organisation (WGO) provides a library of practice guidelines written from a viewpoint of global applicability. WGO Guidelines are currently available in English, French, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. WGO Guidelines go through a rigorous process of authoring, editing and peer review, and are as evidence based as possible.

  e-WGN

The official newsletter of WGO, the electronic World Gastroenterology News (e-WGN), is available in an online format. It is distributed on a quarterly basis and is accessible free of charge as an easily printable PDF and an e-book for comfortable online reading.

  Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology

The Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology (JCG) is the official publication platform for the World Gastroenterology Organisation's Global Guidelines in the English language. The cooperation also covers WGO society news in each issue, as well as WGO review articles in the JCG. Additionally, WGO is represented in the JCG editorial board.

  World Digestive Health Day Publications

Every May 29th WGO celebrates World Digestive Health Day (WDHD) and initiates a worldwide public health campaign through its more than 100 Member Societies which reach over 50,000 practitioners worldwide. Each year focuses upon a particular digestive disorder in order to increase general public awareness of prevention and therapy.

WGO issues an annual publication in recognition of that year’s WDHD focus.

American Association for the Study of Liver Disease (AASLD) - Clinical Liver Disease - A Multimedia Review Journal

The Clinical Liver Disease (CLD) is a digital educational resource published on behalf of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD). The aim of CLD is to provide education for clinicians diagnosing and managing patients with liver disease. Peer review for each submission, conducted by the Editorial Board, attempts to maintain this focus.Each issue delivers between eight and fifteen short articles (approximately 800-1000 words, 10 references, and 4-5 graphics), as well as relevant links to other AASLD online educational material. CLD articles are accompanied by podcasts, video interviews, and/or slide sets that help emphasize the key teaching points for a clinical audience, and readers can earn Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits for reading, watching, and listening to the content.

Under the direction of Editor-in-Chief Nancy Reau, MD, the CLD Editorial Board is responsible for planning issues, reviewing submissions, contributing to the audio/visual elements, and writing board-style questions. For more information and to view current and past issues, click here!
