Dear WGO Members,
On behalf of the Governing Council of the World Gastroenterology Organisation (WGO), I would like to extend my deepest sympathy and concern to all of our members during this global pandemic. The present crisis is unprecedented in scale and impact and may take considerable time for recovery.
Please note that all WGO events, exhibits, and programs, through June, have been cancelled or postponed as we continue to monitor the situation closely. We will continue to take a proactive stance in measures to limit the spread of coronavirus through canceling or postponing future educational events, which is a challenging but necessary decision. As the situation evolves, we will continue to keep you updated about all WGO related activities. In the interim we have compiled some additional resources, which you can find below. We invite you to share with us any resources or links you wish to have included in this page.
We do not know yet what the future will bring, but together we will overcome this. As a global community of colleagues, our thoughts are with you, your colleagues, societies, friends and families.
May we offer our moral support to each of you and many other medical doctors and first responders who are working diligently and tirelessly in combating this epidemic.
We stand in solidarity with you, our fellow colleagues and friends.
