The following WGO Global Guidelines and Cascades are featured as useful resources for the WDHD 2019 campaign. The guidelines are globally applicable, and the cascades offer different options for diagnosis and treatment depending on the resources available.

Diet, Nutrition, Physical Activity and Cancer: a Global Perspective (the Third Expert Report) is a comprehensive analysis, using the most meticulous methods, of the worldwide body of evidence on preventing and surviving cancer through diet, nutrition and physical activity. The Third Expert Report is the latest body of work from World Cancer Research Fund International's Continuous Update Project – an ongoing programme to analyse global scientific research in this area.
