WDHD 2014 Chair, Professor Francisco Guarner, and his team assembled some of the most renowned scientists and clinicians in the field to provide an overview of the most important aspects of science and clinical practice related to gut microbes in the WGO Handbook on Gut Microbes.
The Gut Microbiota and Health Section of the European Society of Gastroenterology and Motility (ESNM) is pleased to provide a first set of e-learning slides on gut microbiota dedicated to gastroenterologists. It contains a selection of scientific information about the human gut microbiota. This e-learning has been developed in cooperation with the WGO.

UPDATE: Gut Microbiota for Health’s gastroenterology e-learning course on the gut microbiota now has a new home! This 1-hour video course, which covers evidence on the role of the gut microbiota in normal gut function and in gastrointestinal disease, will now join the collection of material for continuing medical education available through United European Gastroenterology (UEG).
Probiotics: What You Need to Know: A podcast was created by the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) featuring Prof. Eamonn Quigley, Chair of the WGO Foundation, which highlights the benefits of probiotics and offers tips for choosing and taking these beneficial bacteria. Begin listening now!
